At 9 Yards, we take great care in packing and delivering every saree with respect to its craftsmanship. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered.


1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship across India.
International shipping will be introduced in the future.


2. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping is paid on all orders.

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the delivery pincode and order details.

  • Any applicable shipping fees will be clearly displayed before payment confirmation.


3. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

  • For festive seasons or high-demand periods, processing time may be slightly extended.


4. Delivery Timelines

Estimated delivery timelines depend on the shipping address and are shown using pincode-based availability at checkout.

  • Metro & Urban Areas: 3–7 business days

  • Semi-Urban & Rural Areas: 5–10 business days

Delivery timelines may vary due to courier operations, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.


5. Shipping Partner

We use reliable logistics partners such as DTDC to ensure safe and timely delivery of your orders.


6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking ID via SMS or WhatsApp, allowing you to monitor the delivery status.


7. Address & Delivery Responsibility

  • Please ensure that the shipping address and contact details provided at checkout are accurate.

  • 9 Yards is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.

  • If delivery attempts fail due to customer unavailability, re-delivery or return charges may apply.


8. Packaging & Handling

All products are securely packaged to protect the fabric during transit.
Minor creases due to packaging and transportation are normal and not considered defects.


9. Delayed or Lost Shipments

In rare cases of delay or loss:

  • We will coordinate with the courier partner to resolve the issue.

  • Customers will be informed of updates as they become available.

  • Refunds or replacements, if applicable, will be processed only after courier confirmation.
